Branding for a Cynical Entrepreneur
I’ve read a lot of books on how to get your “thing” going. For the most part, the titles left me cynical and frustrated. I always found myself looking like the square peg trying to fit into the proverbial round hole. When I got this book I thought it might be worth a shot, based on the author’s experience/background. The book was really good. I found it to be relevant and practical. Practical is the most important factor. I didn’t have to be someone I’m not in order to apply the tips and recommendations. I also don’t have time for a book that tells me things I know deep down are not true. I’m not a rock star or household name, just a solo entrepreneur trying to move the needle. Practical is vital to my endeavor. The author’s background, experience and down to earth writing style left me feeling like I could take the advice given and not worry if I was being sold a bunch of fluff.

Before I started reading BrandFace I didn’t think it would apply to my job in outside sales for a large company. I thought it would be more applicable to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
